My name is Macy Ruhl. I'm a 21 year old musician/music lover. I run The Bigger Lights street team, as well as promote quite a few other bands. I spend half of my time promoting shows or going to them. I'm different from anyone you've ever met in your life, and I like it that way. I've been told that I'm intimidating before people get to know me. However, I promise I'm super friendly and I love talking to new people! So get to know me, I'm fun. :)

The Bigger Lights 20+, This Providence 8+, The Friday Night Boys 8+, A Rocket To The Moon 8+….

Do you have any setlists? From what bands?
I have a really old TBL one, but I have a ton of guitar picks.

Are there any CDs in close proximity to you? Which ones?
Nope.

What band are you in the mood to see live right this second?
ARTTM. Mostly because I miss Nick.


Have you ever been on a tour bus?
Cartels (when they were on tour with TBL), ARTTM/This Century’s (last year during warped) & The Maines (last year during warped)

Have you ever partied with a band?
Haha! Many times. Best time was definitely with TBL, This Prov & FNB last summer.


How many states/provinces have you been to concerts in?
Michigan, Arizona, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, & Connecticut


What CD are you addicted to at the moment?
TBL’s new CD..

Who is one band that you used to like, but now you cant stand?

Have you ever been on anyones guest list? Whose?
Yup. TBL, The Friday Night Boys, ARTTM, This Providence, Romance On A Rocketship, Stephen Jerzak, Great Big Planes, Atavan & Undersin Clair… I know I’m forgetting someone, but oh well.

Probably one of the TBL guys.

12?

Which artists havent you seen yet that you want to see?
John Mayer!

Are you wearing a band shirt right now?
I don’t really wear band merch.

What band do you own the most merch of?
I have a few ARTTM shirts that Nick gave me and a few that TBL gave me. It’s probably a tie between those two.

Do you ever do anything crazy at shows?
Not really. haha.

What are your favourite venues to go to shows at?
I really hate all the venues around here… The Intersection is probably my favorite.

Would you ever get a tattoo representing a band?
yeah, I have one with TBL lyrics.

How many concerts do you average a year?
probably around 30 or so.

Upcoming shows?
Oh man, tons… I don’t feel like opening my schedule though.
