The past week…
Has been such a great week. Lizzie and I went to Cleveland, Chicago, Grand Rapids, Columbus and Pittsburgh for shows. Every night was so different and fun. Andy, from TRS, has the sweetest mom ever. She talked to Lizzie and I for a very long time in Chicago and asked me to take pics of him for her. So I got a few good shots and got her email from him. Lizzie has a total crush on him. I don’t blame her, he’s a total sweetheart. We talked to him a few times each day. Andrew was hilarious every night. We joked about how when FNB, This Prov and TBL stayed the night, my EX friend Alyssa tried to get with him and got shot down big time. Then every day he’d give me two thumbs up then come give me a hug. I swear that kid straightens his GRAY hair more than any girl I know.
Columbus was the longest show cause we got there at load in and then chilled in the venue until the show. It was the only show we actually watched from the crowd, but I got quite a few good pics that night. We decided to stay the night in Columbus with Great Big Planes rather than drive with everyone else to Pittsburgh. It was a blast. I love those dudes so much. They are some of the funniest guys I’ve ever met. Josh seems to love walking around without pants on because after the Chicago show he came into TBL’s hotel room in his boxers, then in Columbus he was walking around in long johns. haha. He was SOOO drunk. I felt bad because Josh was sick so Patrick, Dylan, Lizzie and I just hung out in our room and drank.
Tonight was obviously emotional… Having to say bye and whatnot. Topher always makes me cry on the last day, and this was no exception. I had to bury my face in my hands and recover for a few minutes before we said bye to all the other bands. Luckily, Great Big Planes will be back next month and we plan on going to like 3 shows & TBL will be back in a little over a month or so. I already miss everyone though… especially being cooped up in this shitty hotel room tonight since we attempted to drive home and got snowed in somewhere in Ohio. I really miss Dylan and throwing pennies at each other. I also miss his cute Jersey accent. The next tour GBP is on will be so weird because none of them will do the “Josh Chant” to embarrass Josh! I also miss Patrick making us go with him to do “HANDS UP!!!” and getting all the kids to put their hands up. hahaha. I took his keys off his belt loop and some little teenies flipped a shit and thought I was some random chick trying to steal his keys. We laughed about it so hard later that night because they were like “omg! some girl just took your keys!” Such a good group of guys.
I believe for the next TBL tour we are going to 10 dates, which is a lot, but it’ll definitely be a good time. I really hope we go back to the bar in Cleveland by the grog shop next tour because we go there every time we’re in that area… It’s always a blast. Ryan had a dance battle with “Nickel Brad” and it was by far one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life. Lizzie posted the video online somewhere.
Well I’m freezing so time to get off the computer and go to sleep. Hope everyone is staying safe in this shitty weather!!
